Non-scratching sliders

I started off with adhesive pads/glides, but they all eventually came off when the chair was moved under load, so I have replaced them with these pins - I drilled small holes in the bases of the chair legs (the correct dia of the nails) and they work a treat.

After trying felt and other types of chair pads to stop scraping chairs on wooden floors i discovered these teflon type and keep buying more as i add to the feet and legs of furniture on hard floors and on carpet.
